Mango Strawberry Freezer Jam


Beautiful, local strawberries are just now getting ripe and I found a great deal on mangoes, so I whipped up my first batch of freezer jam of the season


Mango Strawberry Freezer Jam

1 1/2 cups sugar
5 tablespoons instant pectin 
4 cups crushed mangoes and strawberries

Stir sugar and pectin together in a large bowl until combined
Add mangoes and strawberries (I used 2 1/2 cups mangoes and 1 1/2 cups strawberries, but use any proportions of fruit you like) and stir for 3 minutes
Ladel jam into jars, leaving half an inch of headspace and screw on lids
Let stand for 30 minutes to thicken then store in the freezer
