Annual Family Camping Trip
Every year we take a long weekend and go camping. We usually head up to Olympic National Park to one of the many excellent campgrounds there. If you have never been to Olympic I highly suggest making the trip. There are tons of things to do and see, from scenic hikes through old growth forests, soaking in a natural hot spring or agate hunting on the beach. Weather your tastes run toward mountains, forests or ocean, Olympic has it all.
Our favorite campground is Heart O' the Hills on the north end of the park. It is only minutes from the town of Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge and Dungeness Spit.
