Anyone who has ever grown zucchini knows that its easy to overlook that inevitable hidden one, that, by the time you notice it, it has become the size of a baseball bat (and you then have to figure out what to do it). Some vegetables, however, surprise you in a good way with their unusually large size. Here are the stars of my garden this year, which give me major bragging rights and could hold their own at the state fair.

Yellow Finn Potato
Wow! Over six pounds of garden goodness in just four veggies. Awesome!
