What's Growing on Hen and Drake Farm - Week 6

Lots of little lettuces are popping up. A portion of them will be for the children's gardening program that I am giving at my local library in April. The kids will learn about the fun of growing their own vegetables, and get to plant and take home pots with their own lettuces and pea seeds. It's going to be tons of fun!

The scallions are growing well and the first of the Rainbow Treasure strawberry seeds have germinated. 

Cabbages, kale, peppers, celery and eggplant continue to progress well. As soon as the organic potting mix I like goes on sale I'll be transplanting the peppers to individual containers.
